Yesterdays game of Song of Spear and Shield.
The Persians were at it again but this time vs phalangites. This game was rather diffrent as it was armor 2 Persians vs armor 2 phalangites. Persians still lost but was much closer this time.
So we set up, this time with a bit over 900 points on a side.

The Macidonians got the first move,

The Persians advanced getting shots off drawing first blood,

The Macidonians press foward,

The Persians keep up the bow fire,

The Macidonian phalangites close in on the Spara Bara men,

The Spara Bara men fall back and get another shot off,

The phalangites slam into the Spara Bara men,

The first kill going on the right of the Persian line and then a addittional +1 right down the line as each Spara Bara man is taken out.

The Persians pour fire into the phalangites, shots to the shieldless rear drop two more,

Shaken Persians continue to fire on the Macidonians,

The Persian Spearmen take out two of the Macidonian Bowmen,

but an aboutface and charge by the phalangites finished it for the Persians,

Havent put together the armylists yet, but do have some nice closeups of the troops.
