Also a fun/ quirky set of rules published by PeterPig miniatures put out by the Rules for the Common Man (RCFM) team.

So we busted out the new Square Bashing rules to try with Randies WWI 15's. It did seem familiar with even more diceing off to set up the game. The set up involves allocating a pool of dice for a "three week prepratory period leading up to the battle i.e. the game. Cant say I understood what I was doing but I apparently rolled well. After that we set up the board, now its 6 inch squares rather that 12 inch. After we set up the figs we started the game and the Germans started advancing. and advancing... and advancing still more, Colin on his side and me on mine managed to take our respective hills, The addittion of shooting is very welcome. They have a lot of army lists. Everything from the Boxer rebellion to the Chaco war, some war between Peru and some other awfull place. The game still hase the feel and character of the first square bashing, looking foward to the next game.
