First game of the New Year

George n I got in another Song of Spear and Shield game todqay. This time we tried a cavalry dominated game with Saracens and early crusaders. The we deployed. After the first turn, the Crusaders knights had the hill. The Saracens start off choking only getting one move of the mounted bow off. next round wasnt much better,the Crusaders advanced the infantry more, the Saracens only getting one move off. Next turn had the Crusader knights thundering down the hill. squaring off like so, The Saracens never got the activcations they needed to act. Buying them with Q4+ was no match vs a Q3+ army. That and the armor diffrence, The Saracen Leader and escourt did make it to the Crusader Infantry but it was a draw and too late. Still looking foward to the game this Sunday, I wanted us to stay with Cavalry games to see how these feel. So stay tuned.
